Port Alcudia, in the northeast of Mallorca, is one of the main tourist towns in the island. It is situated just at the north of the long - 8,5 km.- beach in Alcúdia´s Bay, one of its main attractive spots. From the beach southwards, there are some canals and ponds surrounded by hotels, apartments and villas, many of them are used as summer residences-, the natural reservation area called, Albufera Gran de Mallorca, now being Albufera Natural Park a large conservation area preserved in its natural condition. In Port Alcudia, an excellent accommodation choice can be found, and also a wide range of shops, restaurants, a water park, bars and discos which provide a lively nightlife all summer. This makes it an excellent choice for all who want to enjoy nightlife; for families with children and also for those who just like to spend the holiday enjoying fine weather in a Mediterranean setting.
