There are a number of wineries, such as the "Celler Can Ramis", which produces and sells its own wine, "Son Prim" winery where you can taste their harvest. The town is well-known for its statue of Sister Sor Francinaina Cirer, who was sanctified in 1989. Some of the elements and features from her life are preserved at her birthplace (18th - 19th century) at the convent of the Sisters of Charity. Sencelles is very well connected with the rest of the towns and is about 30 minutes’ drive away from the centre of Palma, the airport, and nearby beaches.
