  Pollensa: Läge och omgivning för denna fastighet

 Den vackra gamla staden Pollensa har mer än 16.000 invånare och är en del av Pollensas kommun, som också omfattar Puerto Pollensa och Cala San Vicente. Staden ligger 6 km från kusten och 58 km från flygplatsen och huvudstaden Palma de Mallorca. Den gamla stadsdelen kännetecknas av smala gator och det gamla marknadstorget. Här finns en blandning av kaféer, barer, matställen och små hotell. Pollensa erbjuder en speciell inblick i Medelhavets livsstil som har utvecklats under århundradena, det är en stad med historia som värdesätter sina traditioner och seder. I början av 1920-talet blev Pollensa ett populärt resmål för berömda målare, författare och musiker som besökte ön. Idag fortsätter Pollensa att vara viktig för kultur- och konstvärlden genom att främja och vara värd för konserter och utställningar av relevans, till exempel den internationella musikfestivalen som hålls under sommarmånaderna. Evenemangskalendern är fullspäckad i Pollensa och de mest anmärkningsvärda tillfällena är Sant Antoni-festivalen i januari, påskfirandet och de veckolånga festligheterna för skyddshelgonet "La Patrona Mare de Déu dels Àngels" från den 26 juli till och med den 2 augusti. Väl värt att besöka är också vinmässan i april och söndagsmarknaderna som hålls varje vecka. Till sevärdheterna hör klostret på Puig de Maria, där det finns en fantastisk 360-graders utsikt och ett bra kafé, och om man bokar kan man till och med sova där för en liten summa. Det finns en romersk bro, som förmodligen inte är romersk och Calvarios 365 steg, även här finns det ett fantastiskt litet kafé på toppen för att återhämta sig från klättringen och njuta av den enorma utsikten över både Pollensas och Alcudias vikar.
