There is already knowledge about this property in the register of the community dating back 1863. At the beginning of the 20th century, the stately-looking property was known in its present appearance with towers, hence the name S'Atalaya, which means something like observation or watchtower. The current owners have managed to create an absolute gem out of it with much love feeling for the existing and with exquisite materials. This was a total renovation both indoors and outdoors. Valldemossa is a beautiful town in Mallorca West, a 30-minute drive from Palma. Since 1981, music lovers can enjoy the annual Chopin Festival. Among its local feasts, is the one devoted around July 28 to local-born Saint Catalina Thomas, the only official saint of Balearic Islands until now. The village is hauntingly pretty, and the mountainous landscape around it simply stunning. Located on the Tramuntana Mountain Range, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011, Valldemossa is ideal for trekking, scaling and cycling. The Son Termes golf course is 10 minutes away by car, and Port of Valldemossa has a small jetty and a charming pebble beach.
