This spectacular country house is acknowledged as one of the top 50 historic houses in the North of Majorca, originally built in the 17th century as the main farm house and olive pressing facility for the neighboring olive groves. The setting is idyllic, set as it is, at the head of the valley protected by wild and rugged mountains but nestling amongst evergreen trees and lush gardens. The house is set amongst 175 acres of its own grounds with enchanting walks through the evergreen oak forests up in the mountains, with its own small orange grove down by the river and beautiful terraced gardens surrounding the house. The accommodation is traditional and comfortable with air conditioning throughout and Wi-Fi internet. The property comprises 6 double bedrooms and 7 bath/shower rooms (6 en suite). A large open plan dining room and living room with snooker and billiards, television room with Sky TV, DVD and Hi-Fi, and a large fully equipped built in kitchen with utility room. Externally there are beautiful covered terraces and a delightful pool (16 x 5 meters) carved out of the hillside and suitable for all ages and full size tennis courts. The only distraction in this haven of peace and tranquility is the mesmerizing gentle breeze. Amenities: Fireplaces, Terraces, Mountain views, swimming pool, air conditioning, patio, tennis court, guest toilet, gardens, built in kitchen. Services: Breakfast provided 6 days a week (included in rent). Lunch and an evening meal are provided 5 days a week (cost of food and drink not included). Bookings Friday to Friday.
