  Situé le long de la côte vers la baie d'Alcudia, le quartier résidentiel d'Alcanada est un coin tranquille et exclusif, où la propriété est très recherchée suite à la construction d'un terrain de golf de 18 trous en 2004. La plage d'Alcanada est longue de 200 mètres et large de 20 mètres en moyenne. C'est une plage familiale paisible aux eaux cristallines et au sable constitué de petits galets. Alcanada est magnifique, un endroit paradisiaque. Elle est couronnée par une île dotée d'un énorme phare et abritée du vent par une petite pinède odorante. Il y a deux restaurants, quelques bars, un petit supermarché et un service de bus, mais aucune infrastructure touristique. C'est ce qui fait son charme, car elle est située à seulement 3 km du centre de la vieille ville d'Alcudia.
