Flanquée des baies de Pollensa et d'Alcudia, avec un total de 30 kilomètres de côtes, dont la magnifique plage de sable "Playa de Alcudia", Alcudia est une excellente destination touristique pour les familles. Avec une population de près de 20 000 habitants, Alcudia se caractérise par son centre historique et ses murs bien conservés depuis le XIVe siècle. Les petites rues sans circulation abritent une gamme d'hôtels de charme, un marché de produits locaux se tient dans le centre tous les dimanches et mardis, et bien sûr il y a un large éventail de restaurants, de bars et de boutiques qui sont ouverts toute l'année. Parallèlement aux infrastructures modernes, les festivals traditionnels continuent de jouer un rôle important dans la vie de la ville, comme Sant Antoni en janvier, la foire Sepia en avril, la fête de Saint-Jacques en juin et la foire d'Alcudia en octobre, etc. La ville est parfaite pour vivre toute l'année et dispose d'excellents équipements, tels que des centres de santé, l'hôpital Juaneda, une bibliothèque, des écoles, et même une école internationale "My School" à proximité de Sa Pobla. Parmi les autres attractions, citons le terrain de golf d'Alcanada, Puerto de Alcudia, Barcarés - un quartier résidentiel tranquille en bord de mer avec des villas et des maisons appartenant principalement à des locaux. Bonaire, avec son Puerto Cocodrilo (un petit port de plaisance) et ses merveilleuses villas, dont beaucoup offrent une vue imprenable sur la baie de Pollensa, et les fantastiques criques de Mal Pas.
