This finca from 19th century is situated in a quiet area and offers views of the town Montuiri and the Puig de Randa to the south. There is an interesting renovation project in progress, maintaining the charm of the original house but adapting and modernising the rooms. In total, there will be a construction of approx. 350m2 including ground floor, first floor and garage plus a 35m2 swimming pool. On the ground floor will be a kitchen, a dining room and a living room. There will also be three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms on the same floor. Upstairs will be another double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and the master bedroom of 35m2. Furthermore, there will be a guest toilet. Attached to the main house is a garage for two cars. A large parking space for further cars is available. Outside, one crosses the garden to reach the swimming pool: a wonderful place to relax with views of nature. The project includes the demolition of a small storage house to build the 35m2 swimming pool and carry out the reform. All permits and licences have been granted. The renovation itself must be carried out by the buyer.

Algaida: Location and surroundings of this property

The small village of Algaida is nestled in the lowlands between Palma and Manacor. The old windmills that dot the village and its surroundings dominate the landscape, and are the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the name of the village. Off the beaten tourist track, Algaida receives only a small number of tourists all year round compared to the huge tourist centres of the island. It is one of the best places on the island to soak up authentic Mallorcan culture, especially if you are looking for quality local gastronomy. Algaida is made up of three urban centres: Algaida, with around 4,500 inhabitants, Pina, with around 500 inhabitants, and Randa, with just over 100 inhabitants. The highlight of the village is the Puig de Randa, a hill of 543 metres high and on its summit is the Santuario de Cura, a natural and cultural space that is part of the island's heritage, known as the famous philosopher Ramon Llull spent time in its sanctuary. It has several supermarkets, restaurants and cafés, a pharmacy, and a sports centre. The beautiful village decorated with sand-coloured Mediterranean style houses is only 20 minutes away from the nearest beaches and the airport, and 30 minutes away from the centre of Palma.
