Randa: Location and surroundings of this property

The municipality of Algaida is located in Pla de Mallorca, which is set in the south-centre of Mallorca. Pla de Mallorca is composed of three urban centres: Algaida, with approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Pina, with about 500 inhabitants, and Randa, with just over 100 inhabitants. Algaida provides, amongst others, numerous well-known restaurants, several supermarkets, pharmacies, a school and a public school. It’s an ideal place for cyclists as it has excellent routes. The Puig de Randa is a hill standing at 543 meters and the Sanctuary of Cura stands on the top, a natural setting that is part of the island's heritage. Its most popular fair is held on the Saturday before Sant Lluc (October). It’s a traditional fair that takes place from early morning until noon and includes crafts, fair trade and culinary products. It is located about 20 minutes from the nearest beaches and the airport, and 30 minutes from the centre of Palma.
