This small, lovely townhouse is located in a very well-kept residential area of Alaró. The three outdoor areas facing south are a special highlight. If you like traditional Mallorcan charm, you can move straight into the house, otherwise you can create a really beautiful piece of jewellery with a manageable investment. The exterior façade is made of authentic sandstone. The entrance area leads into a hallway where the staircase to the upper floor is located. The spacious kitchen with dining area and fireplace adjoins the living room on the ground floor. The kitchen has a particularly bright and friendly design and leads into the beautiful garden on the one hand and skylights have been installed in the ceiling to the terrace above on the other, providing plenty of natural light and brightness. At the end of the kitchen is a bathroom with shower. The garden is south-facing and enjoys sunshine almost all day long. The orange tree and the lemon tree are particularly beautiful with their lush fruit splendour. The roof of the garden house has a terrace with spectacular views of the Twin Sisters (the two famous mountain peaks of Alaró). There is enough space here for sun loungers or a cosy dining area. There is another spacious terrace on the upper floor adjacent to the master bedroom, so there are many different ways to make individual use of the three outdoor areas. The master bedroom with built-in wardrobe offers an en-suite bathroom with bathtub. There is also a further spacious double bedroom with fitted wardrobes on the upper floor as well as a connecting room which offers space for a single bed or a guest sofa bed. A staircase leads from the connecting room to the attic. This could also be converted into a cosy sleeping area or a snug reading room. Features: Central heating, fireplace, air conditioning, garden, views, south facing, approx. 20m2 machine room outside for the heating system with plenty of storage space.

Alaró: Location and surroundings of this property

The picturesque village of Alaró is located in a quiet valley between two well-known mountains in the south of the Tramuntana mountain range. It is located in the centre of the island of Mallorca and currently has more than 5,700 inhabitants. It is about 20 minutes from the centre of Palma, as well as from the nearest beaches and the airport. It has numerous restaurants, as well as our beautiful Engel & Völkers office in the town square. It stands out for its old architecture and beautiful cobbled streets in the oldest part of the village, as well as for the surrounding nature. Alaró is home to a weekly market every Saturday, where one can find local fresh produce and clothes. In addition, its inhabitants of different nationalities give it a great cultural diversity. One of the most famous sights is the Castell d'Alaró, which is situated on the top of the mountain at an altitude of 822 metres and is listed as a site of cultural interest. The castle has stunning views of the Mallorcan countryside and as far as the bay of Palma, and is about two hours' walk from the centre of the village. It is a popular village for cyclists and hikers as it has some of the best routes on the island. The most important industry for the village was the shoe industry, which once numbered 30 factories, and today still includes the workshop of Tony Mora, world famous for his handmade cowboy boots.
