The district borders the municipalities of Esporles and Puigpunent to the north and west, respectively, and the districts of Son Anglada and Secar de la Real to the south and the suburb of Son Espanyol to the east. Establiments dates back to the 16th century, although the territory of the current neighbourhood was occupied much earlier.
