Petra is a traditional small town with approximately 3,000 inhabitants in the heart of Mallorca, which is considered the “true Mallorca” due to its sand-colored houses and authentic charm. The village offers a solid infrastructure, including five supermarkets, various hairdressing salons, a flower shop, and a train connection. For well-being, there are two fitness studios with personal trainers, the Spa d‘es Pla, and several physiotherapists. Social life revolves around the two cozy village squares, which are lined with excellent restaurants and terraces. Historically, Petra is known as the birthplace of Fray Junípero Serra, the missionary considered the founder of California.
