Can Teulada is a gorgeous, big country villa perfect for summer holidays with every member of the family that is in a brilliant position in Llenaire / Almadrava between Pollensa and the Port of Pollensa, with easy access to the superb beaches (approx. 4km ) and close to the lovely old town of Pollensa. The house is within a fenced plot of land with fruit trees, olive trees and a pretty garden, where there is a big, very private pool (12m x 6m) that has an irregular shape and a padding area for smaller children or for those that just want to dip their feet in, the deep end for the swimmers goes up to 1.80m. The property has an extensive area of grass that is great for the kids to run around and play and for ball games, etc., or for relaxing of the sun loungers and improving the tan. The open views to the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains are a real treat as are the many outdoor areas to grill, chill and relax with those that matter. A fantastic porch will likely be the hub of the house during the summer months where there is plenty of room to eat, chat, enjoy a refreshing sundowner, play a game of cards or play some music. The house is delightful with 300 sqm constructed and a well distributed layout over three floors, it is decorated with a super rustic / nautical style that includes exposed ceiling beams, natural stone floors, comfortable furnishings and is very well equipped. Traditional features include beautiful sandstone arches and exposed wooden ceiling beams and a huge porch. The family rooms include an open plan living-dining room and kitchen on the ground floor where there is also a double bedroom with twin beds and a bathroom with a shower. All rooms on the ground floor have access to the large, furnished porch that overlooks the pool area. On the upper floor there are three double bedrooms, the main bedroom with a shower room en suite and the remaining two twin bedrooms share a full family bathroom (with bathtub and shower). All three overlook the garden and pool. In the semi-basement there is an apartment with access from within the house as well as from outside, which has two twin bedrooms, a bathroom with a bathtub and shower, a living room with sofas and a television, and a dining area and a kitchenette. Please note that there is no air conditioning on this floor, the bedrooms are cooler and have ceiling fans. This apartment is an ideal option for chatty teenagers or those that like more privacy. This property is in good condition and the lovely decoration goes perfectly with the rustic style of the house and provides the perfect environment for those who want to relax and enjoy their holidays in the sun close to all the amenities available in the heart of Pollensa and its Port as well as being close to the beach.

Location and surroundings of this property

The beautiful old town of Pollensa has a population of more than 16,000 and is part of the Municipality of Pollensa, that also includes Puerto Pollensa and Cala San Vicente. The town is 6 km from the coast and 58 from the airport and the capital Palma de Mallorca. The old town is characterised by narrow streets and the old market square. The town has a medley of cafes, bars, eateries and small hotels. Pollensa offers a special insight into the Mediterranean lifestyle that has evolved over the centuries, it is a town with history that values its traditions and customs. In the early 1920s, Pollensa became a popular destination for famous painters, writers and musicians who visited the island. Today Pollensa continues to be important to the cultural and art worlds promoting and hosting concerts and exhibitions of relevance, such as the International Music Festival held during the summer months. The event calendar is busy in Pollensa the most notable occasions being the festivals of Sant Antoni in January the Easter celebrations and the week-long festivities of the patron saint ‘La Patrona Mare de Déu dels Àngels’ from the 26th July to and including the 2nd of August. Also well worth visiting is the wine fair in April and the Sunday markets held every week. Points of interest include the convent on the Puig de Maria, where there are fantastic 360º views and a great cafe, and if you book you can even sleep there for a small sum. There is a Roman Bridge, which probably is not Roman and the 365 steps of the Calvario, here too there is a great little cafe at the top to recover from the climb and relish the huge views to both the bays of Pollensa and Alcudia.
