Spacious country house with history and character. The property retains the old oil mill, which is now an integral part of the main house's living room, blending the charm of the past perfectly with modernity.

The estate includes a private tennis court, well-maintained gardens, and vast olive groves and fruit trees, offering an exceptional quality of life in the tranquility of the Mallorcan countryside. It is also conveniently located near the Pollença Golf Course, adding extra appeal to its location.

The pool area is spectacular, fully equipped with awnings and umbrellas, comfortable sofas for relaxation, a Balinese bed, and a large table for enjoying an outdoor barbecue, complete with cooking facilities. The estate also offers many delightful corners waiting to be discovered.

The architecture of the house is impressive, with thick walls, beautiful arches, high ceilings with exposed wooden beams, and terracotta floors. There is a large furnished porch, perfect for al fresco dining, as well as spacious living rooms and a very distinctive dining room. The fully equipped kitchen includes a cold room for food preparation and additional refrigerators.

On the ground floor, there are three bedrooms, two shower rooms, and a guest toilet. On the upper floor, there is a cozy lounge area with sofas and access to a large covered terrace offering stunning views of Pollença and Alcudia. This floor also features two double bedrooms, a bathroom with an en-suite bathtub and shower, and a separate shower room.

The house is equipped with central heating, several fireplaces, air conditioning (cool/heat), and fans for added comfort. Additionally, on the same estate, there is a separate building where the caretaker resides, who takes care of the property and attends to guests, always respecting their privacy.

Location and surroundings of this property

The beautiful old town of Pollensa has a population of more than 16,000 and is part of the Municipality of Pollensa, that also includes Puerto Pollensa and Cala San Vicente. The town is 6 km from the coast and 58 from the airport and the capital Palma de Mallorca. The old town is characterised by narrow streets and the old market square. The town has a medley of cafes, bars, eateries and small hotels. Pollensa offers a special insight into the Mediterranean lifestyle that has evolved over the centuries, it is a town with history that values its traditions and customs. In the early 1920s, Pollensa became a popular destination for famous painters, writers and musicians who visited the island. Today Pollensa continues to be important to the cultural and art worlds promoting and hosting concerts and exhibitions of relevance, such as the International Music Festival held during the summer months. The event calendar is busy in Pollensa the most notable occasions being the festivals of Sant Antoni in January the Easter celebrations and the week-long festivities of the patron saint ‘La Patrona Mare de Déu dels Àngels’ from the 26th July to and including the 2nd of August. Also well worth visiting is the wine fair in April and the Sunday markets held every week. Points of interest include the convent on the Puig de Maria, where there are fantastic 360º views and a great cafe, and if you book you can even sleep there for a small sum. There is a Roman Bridge, which probably is not Roman and the 365 steps of the Calvario, here too there is a great little cafe at the top to recover from the climb and relish the huge views to both the bays of Pollensa and Alcudia.
