Charming traditional country house, ideal for resting in complete privacy. This historic property, over 500 years old, retains its original robust structure. Inside, the "Tahona" (oil mill), has been converted into a stylish living room.

Every corner of the house is steeped in history, with antique furniture, wrought iron, and traditional fabrics all made on the island. The bathrooms are equipped with modern fixtures in a classic style, complemented by earthy tones and oranges that bring a fresh, lively feel to the spaces.

The stone walls, the cobblestone floor of the tahona, and the wooden beams in the double-height ceilings add unique character to the house.

The spacious traditional kitchen, fully equipped with modern appliances (including air conditioning), preserves the classic stone sink and an old fireplace. Additionally, there is a second living room with a TV.

The property offers three double en-suite bedrooms and a separate additional bathroom, all with air conditioning. Each room is spacious and cozy.

Outside, you can enjoy shaded porches, sunbathing terraces, outdoor dining areas for family barbecues, and a generous swimming pool (11 x 4.20 m).

The views of the surrounding mountains and fields provide a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Moreover, the beaches, golf club, and the village center are just a few minutes’ drive away.

Location and surroundings of this property

The beautiful old town of Pollensa has a population of more than 16,000 and is part of the Municipality of Pollensa, that also includes Puerto Pollensa and Cala San Vicente. The town is 6 km from the coast and 58 from the airport and the capital Palma de Mallorca. The old town is characterised by narrow streets and the old market square. The town has a medley of cafes, bars, eateries and small hotels. Pollensa offers a special insight into the Mediterranean lifestyle that has evolved over the centuries, it is a town with history that values its traditions and customs. In the early 1920s, Pollensa became a popular destination for famous painters, writers and musicians who visited the island. Today Pollensa continues to be important to the cultural and art worlds promoting and hosting concerts and exhibitions of relevance, such as the International Music Festival held during the summer months. The event calendar is busy in Pollensa the most notable occasions being the festivals of Sant Antoni in January the Easter celebrations and the week-long festivities of the patron saint ‘La Patrona Mare de Déu dels Àngels’ from the 26th July to and including the 2nd of August. Also well worth visiting is the wine fair in April and the Sunday markets held every week. Points of interest include the convent on the Puig de Maria, where there are fantastic 360º views and a great cafe, and if you book you can even sleep there for a small sum. There is a Roman Bridge, which probably is not Roman and the 365 steps of the Calvario, here too there is a great little cafe at the top to recover from the climb and relish the huge views to both the bays of Pollensa and Alcudia.
